Culture, music, sports… There’s always something going on in Paris Region!

The Louvre, Musée d’Orsay, Centre Pompidou, Fondation Louis Vuitton, … The major cultural institutions are opening the ball with their parade of blockbuster exhibitions. The home of singer Serge Gainsbourg is about to open its doors, while the Journées Européennes du Patrimoine (European Heritage Days) are taking place this year on the theme of “Living Heritage” and “Sports Heritage”, a highly topical subject as Paris Region welcomes the world for the Rugby World Cup.

The new music season will be punctuated by the much-anticipated Fête de l’Humanité, Jazz au fil de l’Oise, Pitchfork Music Festival, not forgetting the Technoparade, which returns this year on 23 September.

And let’s not forget the other major sporting events that will also be bringing excitement to the capital: Open de France (golf), Paris - Versailles (running), Qatar Prix Arc de Triomphe (trotting), Rolex Paris Masters (tennis).
