What more beautiful setting than the Abbaye de Royaumont, this architectural treasure founded by King Saint-Louis to appreciate music and dance! From ancient music to contemporary creation, from choreographic research to transcultural encounters, the festival is the emerging face of the permanent activity of the International Centre for Music and Dance of Royaumont.
And the 2021 edition promises more great surprises! From Saturday, August 21 to Sunday, October 3, 2021, the festival offers 30 events for both children and adults that reflect the diversity of past and present artistic forms. Transcultural music with musicians such as Ahmed Ben Fegura, Laure Slabiak or the flutist Naïssam Jalal; baroque singing with the incredible Jean-Luc Ho; singing in several forms such as choir, recital or medieval recreation; and at the centre of the programme, two of the greatest French pianists of the new generation, Nathanaël Gouin and Maroussia Gentet. A complete and modern programme to experience an extraordinary festival with your family!
