Description

Whether you are visiting Paris with family or friends, you should pay a historical visit to the Conciergerie de Paris! Buy your tickets online for this magnificent monument inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Built under King Philip the Fair, this medieval royal palace, which became a revolutionary tribunal and Marie-Antoinette's prison, was the first Parisian residence of the kings of France. Book your visit now and discover the Palais de la Cité with its dazzling gothic halls, which will no longer have any secrets for you!

The vestiges of the Capetian dynasty’s Parisian palace can still be seen today. In the 14th century, Charles V abandoned this residence, but kept it as his regime’s seat of justice. In the late 18th century, many of the Revolutionary Court’s accused, including Marie-Antoinette, were incarcerated in the Prison de la Conciergerie.

The Conciergerie should definitely be on the list of places you should visit while you are in Paris!
