Description
Encounter the most captivating animals from the Amazon, just a few kilometres from Paris. Parrot World was created by a lover of parrots, parakeets, and lovebirds and offers visitors an adventure among the wild flora and fauna of South America.
A family trip to the Zoo
The park is a refuge for these endangered species. Parrot World was designed for families and provides a fun way of learning about these animals from the other side of the world.
No fewer than 350 parrots live in the enormous enclosure where they show off their vibrant colours. The enclosure recreates the biodiversity from the birds’ natural habitat, and is also home to capybaras, coatis and even insects in the “biodiversity” lodge.
While parrots are the stars at Parrot World, don’t forget to visit the park’s other animals. The park has four zones, each recreating a different biogeographic area. Near the river, watch otters play, swim and dive from their natural slide. Admire powerful jaguars and watch Humboldt penguins, rheas and guinea pigs in a Patagonian landscape.
Sleep right alongside the animals
To extend the adventure, Parrot World invites you to spend the night in the heart of the park in immersive lodges inspired by Amazonian stilt houses. These lodgings offer a different way to experience the park, once the visitors have left and nature takes over.
The Amazon lodges offer a privileged view of the large aviary and its colourful birds, whilst the Jaguar lodges invite you to a spectacular face-to-face encounter with South America’s largest feline, thanks to large floor-to-ceiling windows opening onto its territory. The Pantanal lodge, meanwhile, lets you wake up to the sight of a colony of tropical birds in a setting inspired by the vast South American wetlands.
Everything is in place for a seamless family day out, with children's play areas, picnic and dining facilities, and a gift shop full of memorable keepsakes.
You'll also love the animals at the Lumigny Safari Reserve.
