Lumigny Safari Réserve

Lumigny Safari Reserve invites you to discover the animal kingdom in a vast natural setting covering 110 hectares. Building on the legacy of the famous Parc des Félins, the site is now home to over 700 animals, which visitors can encounter along walking trails, immersive footbridges, a safari train and several themed areas designed to allow visitors to observe the species whilst respecting their natural behaviour. Here, you’ll find yourself looking at the animals in a different way: more attentively, more curiously, and closer to their natural lives.

From animal encounters to discoveries

Throughout the visit, you come across lions, tigers, panthers and many iconic species, as well as around sixty lemurs roaming freely on their island. Activities led by the educational teams, workshops tailored to younger children and observation areas turn every encounter into a learning experience. It’s a fun way to gain a better understanding of biodiversity and conservation issues that affect the lives of many of the species housed in the reserve.

Beyond simply discovering wildlife, Lumigny Safari Reserve champions an approach based on animal welfare, with vast landscaped areas that encourage natural behaviour. This immersive experience is further enhanced by unique areas such as the Polar Village, dedicated to Arctic ecosystems, or the immersive hotel ‘Le Royaume des Lions’, where you can spend the night facing the big cats. Several dining areas are also dotted throughout the visit, offering the chance to take a break between explorations without leaving the park.
