Description

A stone's throw from the Rotonde Stalingrad, Le Pavillon des Canaux is a welcoming cultural hub located in the former lock keeper's house on the banks of the Loire, beside the Canal de l'Ourcq in Paris's 19th arrondissement. The establishment's colourful façade conceals hybrid spaces that are perfect for working, chatting or chilling out. Renovated in 2014 by the Sinny & Ooko team, creators of trendy venues in Paris (La Machine du Moulin Rouge, La REcyclerie, La Cité Fertile, Le Comptoir Général…), the space combines heritage architecture, antique furniture and a bright glass roof, offering a warm and aesthetic setting that encourages encounters, creativity and better living together. Here, you can bring your laptop and settle comfortably into the ‘coffice’, a workspace open to all that offers the perfect balance between the functionality of an office and the conviviality of a café.

An eco-friendly and gourmet festive offering

The venue offers home-style cooking, certified Écotable, made exclusively with organic, locally sourced and seasonal produce. You can enjoy a gourmet brunch, a coffee and pastry break or a drink at the natural wine bar, while enjoying a cosy atmosphere, particularly with its furnished rooms (such as the legendary pink room), the relaxation lounge or even the bathtub converted into a reading corner. In summer, you can even extend the experience on the terrace by the water.

Le Pavillon des Canaux also organises a rich cultural programme (DIY workshops, exhibitions, festivals such as Pop Meufs, concerts, conferences), transforming itself for the occasion into a true place of ecological transition, inclusivity and civic engagement.

Your urban adventure continues in the third places of the Paris Region.
