Description

Covid-19 information : green pass required at the entrance for people aged 12 years and two months or older.

Marcel Campion, the iconic president of the French stallholders’ federation and a huge fan of gypsy jazz, has taken the reins of La Chope des Puces. Having been a regular client and seen big names in jazz such as George Benson, Serge Krief and the Ferré Brothers play there, he preserves the spirit and reputation of the place.

This legendary bistro offers high-quality traditional cuisine, in a setting befitting the musical tradition of the Marché aux Puces, with a display of authentic guitars that once belonged to jazz greats. The main room is decorated in a flea-market style, with some pieces dating from the beginning of the last century.

Indulge yourself with one of the house specialities: rib steaks, bœuf bourguignon, blanquette de veau, crème brûlée… And don’t miss the atmosphere of the gypsy jazz concerts on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
