Description

Women’s fashion at numbers 109 (prêt-à-porter and designers) and 114 (Japanese designers and couturiers), men at number 111, accessories and kids at number 110 (on the corner of Rue Saint-Baptiste-de-la-Salle), teenagers at number 124, interior decoration and homeware at number 106… the rue du Cherche-midi also houses the concept store Smallable.

What started out as a single little boutique gradually expanded into the neighbouring buildings as its success grew, and now offers hours a host of treasures extensive enough to keep shoppers busy for hours. This consignment store, where you can buy second-hand products or drop off those you want to get rid of in the hope that they will find a buyer, has proved a huge hit.

And it operates on a virtuous business model very much in keeping with the spirit of the circular economy, a particularly attractive proposition given the toll the items on offer here might normally take on a shopper's bank balance. Big names are the order of the day, and everything is in impeccable condition. The store offers a second life to Mercadal shoes, Chanel bags, Hugo Boss jeans and Bonpoint romper suits…
