- The Scandibérique sud Seine-et-Marne – from Bois-le-Roi to Souppes-sur-Loing
Description
The Scandibérique is the French section of the EuroVeloroute cycling route that links Trondheim in Norway to Santiago de Compostela in Spain, and crosses the southern part of Ile-de-France, following the Seine and the Loing rivers for almost 60 kilometres.
A great opportunity to see more of the river and its tributaries on an invigorating ride through classified forest and protected natural areas.
Cross enchanting villages and admire some remarkable heritage on this journey into France’s history. Here, the countryside is dotted with châteaux, medieval towns, museums, churches and stately homes.
For example, you can stop off and visit the château-museum in Nemours, the Île-de-France prehistory museum, the village of Château-Landon, the Bourdelle garden museum, Moret-sur-Loing, Barbizon - much loved by the Impressionists - or Fontainebleau and its famous château and forest.
(Re)discover Paris Région for a day - or week-end - full of surprises.
