As winter draws to a close and the vegetation springs back to life, the Gardens of the Château of Versailles rediscover their full splendour.

In the footsteps of the Sun King

The Musical Fountains Show and Musical Gardens season at the château is launched.
To mark the occasion, and for the duration of the high season, the groves are exceptionally open and the ponds flooded.

The 55 fountains and pools and their 600 water features are set in motion with a lyre key by the fountain artists of the Château de Versailles, while Baroque music floats through the air, accompanying you as you stroll along. The feeling of stepping back in time is even greater than usual.

For over 350 years now, the Musical Fountains Show have been enlivening the gardens of the Château de Versailles. Don't miss this timeless event, at the crossroads of nature and poetry. And to extend the experience, they become nocturnes every Saturday in summer from June to September. The groves are bathed in light and shadow before the dazzling finale of fireworks. It's magical!

To make the most of this timeless moment, think big. The Passport ticket gives access to the entire estate: château, gardens, domaine de Trianon and park.
