Description

The world famous architectural achievement, Villa Savoye, sometimes called “Les Heures Claires” (bright hours), was built by Charles-Edouard Jeanneret (known as Le Corbusier) and Pierre Jeanneret between 1928 and 1931. The villa, designed for the Savoye family to live in, is representative of the fundamentals of modern architecture.

Opening days and times

  • Open from 10 am to 5 pm from 1 September to 30 April and from 10 am to 6 pm from 2 May to 31 August
  • Closed on Mondays and on 1 January, 1 May, 1 November, 11 November and from 25 December to 1 January inclusive.

Admission tickets and prices

  • Open tickets (undated) valid for 12 months from the date of issue
  • Free admission for visitors under the age of 18 (with family and not in school groups), EU citizens and European residents under the age of 26, and for everyone on the first Sunday of each month from December to March
  • Tickets cannot be modified, refunded or exchanged

Getting there

  • Along the route between Paris & Rouen, 33 km north-west of Paris and 19 km north of Versailles
  • From Porte de Saint-Cloud in Paris: Take the A13 towards Rouen until exit 7, then take the D153 towards Poissy
  • From Porte Maillot in Paris: head towards La Défense, then take the A14 towards Rouen to exit 6, then take the D153 towards Poissy
  • RER A: Poissy
