Odysséa is first and foremost a story of women

The Odysséa association, created in 2002, is committed to fighting against breast cancer thanks to a story of friendship and womanhood. Frédérique Quentin, top athlete in the French track and field team, and Frédérique Jules, physiotherapist in the world of sport and also a former athlete, deciding to organise an event supporting the fight against breast cancer. What could be more normal for these two sportswomen to launch a solidarity race. By bringing together 1,000 women at the foot of the Eiffel Tower in the first year, they succeeded in raising €10,000 for cancer research. With the help of Anne Bergougnoux, in charge of communications, they have grown year by year, reaching 34,000 participants in 2022. With 70% to 100% of the amount donated to the cause, the objective of this race is to raise funds, increase prevention and support patients and their families.

Breast cancer, a scourge for many women, can also be conquered in short strides! So lace up your sneakers…
