Born from the vision of Yann Guiguen, a former tourism professional, Local & Vous is a true tribute to the producers and artisans of Île-de-France.

Opened in 2022 on Avenue Gabriel Péri in Saint-Ouen, this locavore shop set itself the mission of reinventing neighborhood retail by offering a responsible, supportive, and delicious alternative. Reducing the carbon footprint, supporting the local economy, and offering quality products—while rebuilding a connection between producers and consumers—is the shop’s goal.

Today, Local & Vous works directly with more than 70 Île-de-France producers, all committed to an artisanal, organic, or sustainable approach. The grocery store is also designed as a friendly place, where you can chat with producers, discover the stories behind the products, and even taste on site, thanks to a small terrace set up in the warmer months.

Exceptional products, Île-de-France gems

The shop is full of local treasures, carefully selected for their quality, originality, and proximity—within less than 100 km of Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine. An entire section is dedicated to Île-de-France brewers, with references such as beers from Alambic Parisien or the Red Star–labelled beers, brewed in Saint-Ouen. Vexin and Saint-Ouen honey, produced by local beekeepers, is a must for lovers of authentic flavors. Fabrique jams, made by a producer in Vincennes, offer original, indulgent recipes crafted from seasonal fruit; as do the flavorful pâtés and terrines from Sept Collines, the delicious bars from chocolatier Cédric Turmel, and Bijibio chips—100% natural and gluten-free… all products that will delight both young and old. You’ll also find soaps, creams, and locally made household products to round out the offering—for responsible consumption from the cellar to the bathroom.

Local & Vous also offers themed gift boxes (honey box, craft beer box, spreads box) to give as a present or to treat yourself, as well as a selection of fresh produce (fruit, vegetables, cheeses) and fresh bread, delivered daily by a local bakery.
