Description
Abandoned since 1934, the former station of Montrouge-Ceinture was reborn this summer in the form of a 400m2 cultural space. Le Poinçon (The Punch) takes its name from the eponymous tool used to perforate transport tickets until the 60's and immortalised by the song by Serge Gainsbourg.
The brains behind the project are the brilliant Cultplace team, a factory of social and cultural venues, already responsible for Bellevilloise, Dock B and La Petite Halle.
There is a stage for concerts and public debates, a terrace overlooking the centre of Paris, a café, restaurant, exhibitions… Basically a hybrid and multifunctional place where it is nice to share a dinner, have a drink, participate in a debate, meet artists or simply catch up with friends.
Eat well, eat healthy!
The art of eating well is paramount at Le Poinçon, and you digest better in good company. Seasonal produce** punctuates the menu and inspires the chef to create fresh dishes at lunchtime. In the evening, you'll find yourself in front of planks and tapas to share, all accompanied by a creative or unmissable house cocktail.
Sunday is brunch time! With family or friends, Sunday is often the day to gather around a table. Chez Poinçon offers an all-you-can-eat buffet, a mix of sweet and savoury dishes accompanied by a live concert. This programme ticks all the boxes for a successful Sunday brunch.
Whatever the time of day, this cosy or dynamic place, depending on your mood, welcomes you for a good time.
