Description
Located in the 12th arrondissement on a former Paris transport authority site, Le Marché Pop is breaking the mould: popular and trendy, friendly and festive, a social and leisure facility, this huge temporary area is a shrine to pleasures of all kinds.
This food court looks forward to chill out on the deck chairs or sofas placed here and there and to tuck into the fresh products available either to take away or to share on the large wooden tables.
When it comes to food, the 9 counters dedicated to eating well have plenty on offer to delight your taste buds. There’s something for every taste, with a butcher, a fishmonger, a baker, a cheese seller, a market gardener, an Italian delicatessen and a pizzeria! This producers’ market offers a wealth of possibilities: you can go shopping there of course, but also sample the products on site or even have them cooked by four chefs who can throw together à la plancha or rotisserie dishes to suit your tastes. For the budding cooks among you, an open barbecue is available not forgetting the 3 bars where you can quench your thirst.
When it comes to leisure activities, a variety of stands and features are there to liven up your day including pétanque or badminton courts, ping-pong tables and table football along with a huge marquee with a central stage hosting stand-up comics, children’s shows, theatre, dance and masterclasses.
