L'International

Something of an institution with night owls in the Oberkampf district, L’International is an underground music venue well known among Parisians.

Cheerful and inexpensive, it’s the perfect place for meeting up with friends from 6pm onwards for a happy hour at unbeatable prices with pints at €4 and pastis at €2. When night falls, it’s time for music. The delightfully tumbledown basement room has been the scene of countless eclectic evening concerts, from garage music to French rap, from dance hall to psychedelic rock and from cold wave to French boogie, not forgetting indie pop.

Two or three groups perform each evening from Tuesday to Saturday, not forgetting the carte blanche events, release parties or DJ sets. And at weekends, the fun goes on until six in the morning!
