Description
An iconic guinguette
After bringing the banks of the Seine to life, La Javelle is now setting up in the heart of Bercy Encore, a vast third place undergoing major urban transformation in the 12th arrondissement. Located on a former railway wasteland, this innovative site is becoming a true laboratory for the city of tomorrow, combining ecological, cultural and social initiatives.
In this constantly evolving environment, La Javelle is staying true to its DNA: a festive village square where residents, curious visitors, families and night owls come together. On the programme: concerts, popular dances, DJ sets, as well as wellness workshops and children’s activities.
The 2026 season marks a new milestone with the Sportfield, a padel court installed directly on site, making it possible to combine sporting activities with convivial moments, both during the day and in the evening.
Between two games of padel, take time to wander through the different areas, join gardening workshops or discover ecological and solidarity-based initiatives.
The guinguette spirit in all its gourmet generosity
When it comes to food, La Javelle focuses on a generous and varied offer: Neapolitan-style pizzas, as well as a snack bar serving burgers, fries and sharing boards, with vegetarian options available.
From street food to sharing dishes, everyone will find something to enjoy alongside a festive open-air moment, seated around large convivial tables. At aperitif time, the guinguette comes alive around its bars and drinks caravans, where beers, wines and cocktails can be enjoyed in a relaxed atmosphere. Those looking for a good deal will also appreciate the happy hours on drinks, ideal for making the evening last without rushing, in a warm and laid-back setting.
With its popular atmosphere, ecological commitment and wide range of activities, La Javelle stands out among the must-visit summer guinguettes in Paris, perfect for making the most of sunny days, between celebration, relaxation and discovery.
