Description

Founded in Turin in 2007 on the initiative of Oscar Farinetti, the Eataly venture is based on a simple idea: to bring together in one place the very best of Italian gastronomy and the people who bring it to life. Having conquered New York, Tokyo, São Paulo and Dubai, the brand has found in Paris a setting that lives up to its ambition.

The vibrant Marais as a backdrop

In the heart of the Marais, amongst bustling alleyways, hidden galleries, creative venues and terraces that are always buzzing, Eataly occupies nearly 4,000 m² dedicated to the Italian art of living. A vast delicatessen stocks over 5,000 products, from olive oils to artisanal pasta, whilst several counters and restaurants invite you to explore the diversity of the peninsula’s cuisines. A well-stocked wine cellar and a cookery school round off the experience. Open every day, the venue is perfect for everything from a lunch break to dinner with friends, an impromptu aperitif or an inspired shopping trip.

A celebration of Italian produce

Here, the cuisine celebrates, above all, the quality of the ingredients. The recipes, true to Italian traditions, allow the freshness of freshly made mozzarella, the fragrance of basil picked at the peak of ripeness, and the richness of carefully selected olive oil to shine through. Beneath the large pizza ovens, amongst the hanging hams and colourful stalls of fresh pasta, every detail evokes the warm atmosphere of Italy’s markets and trattorias.

An invitation to discover Italy through its flavours, traditions and way of life without leaving Paris.

A gourmet stroll through the delicatessens of the Paris Region.
