Discover dog sledding

Fancy a trip to the North Pole – just one hour from Paris? Then head to the forest of Fontainebleau for the most extraordinary of outings...with a team of sled dogs leading the way.

  1. What to see and do
  2. Guided tours and excursions
  3. Discover dog sledding

If you’re looking for new experiences, then head to one of the Paris Region’s green lungs: the forest of Fontainebleau. A former hunting ground for the kings of France – including Francis I – the forest is the perfect place to escape into nature only a few miles from Paris.

Surrounded by trees that are hundreds of years old, here you can enjoy one of the most original outings around – whatever the season. Hop into a kart pulled by sled dogs and driven by a professional musher, and roam through the forest trails, where you can get back to nature, admire the Scots pines, oaks and beech trees above you, and find out how a sled pulled by animals works.
It’s a novel new way of getting out and about that you can enjoy both solo or with loved ones.
