Description

On the banks of the Aubervilliers canal, not far from the Cité des sciences et de l'industrie, an enormous complex invites you to give your body a workout as well as your mind. Climb Up Aubervilliers, just like Climb up Cergy, invites you to try climbing, an activity that appeals to all.

This 5,000 m² facility is the biggest indoor climbing hall in the world, if you please! Enough to keep any would-be Spider-Man happy for hours on end. Whether you’re a novice or an experienced climber, this activity is suitable for all, young or old. The Aubervilliers facility is the perfect place to spend the whole day climbing.

One hall, two settings

The idea of tackling 5,000 m² of climbing walls may be a little intimidating. A bit like climbing the façade of a huge cathedral. But rest assured, because here there’s nothing to prevent you reaching the top.

If you already have a little climbing experience, you'll know there’s more than one way to enjoy this sport. Bouldering requires strong arms and a supple body, while the climbing routes are more technically challenging and require stamina.

At Climb Up Aubervilliers, you'll find 200 rope routes catering for all levels and reaching heights of 10 metres, which are modified every three months. Plus 170 metres of boulder routes which change roughly once a month.

For novices, the fun climbing route and the fun area offer a more amusing way to progress. The colourful walls are decorated with all sorts of motifs. This is Mario’s world but in a real-life version.

And if you want to make real progress, you can take one-to-one lessons here. Beginner, improver and training sessions are all available.

Work, play and great food

After the effort comes the reward, naturally. After a good climbing session, Climb Up invites its customers to take a break in the Kitchen. The principle? A pleasant meal in an unusual venue. The menu includes: burgers, freshly-fried chips, salads and various other dishes. A variety of healthy choices, be it a snack or a full meal.

Climb Up even has a coworking facility. Part of the restaurant area is set aside for a few courageous souls who come here to work.

As you’ve guessed by now, Climb Up Aubervilliers is a great place for climbing enthusiasts to come and enjoy a cheerful atmosphere, especially when the pleasure is shared.
