Description

Looking to escape the grey Paris skies? Want to extend your summer holidays with a happiness boost made of sand, waves and water slides? Head to the 15th arrondissement, near Porte de Versailles, to enjoy a dose of relaxation and adrenaline. Since 1989, Aquaboulevard, Europe’s largest urban water park, has been giving families, friends and sports lovers a refreshing taste of leisure and laid-back fun. No need to wait for Paris Plages to feel like you’re on holiday.

In Paris, vamos à la playa

Your children splashing around in crystal-clear water at 29 degrees. Your Cuba libre, sipped peacefully in the shade of a banana tree, feet buried in fine sand. Spectacular dives… No, you’re not in a Bora Bora resort, but right here at Aquaboulevard in Paris. Beneath its covered dome, a giant blue whale challenges children and adults alike to race down the park’s 11 slides and try out its many water attractions.

Whether you’re daring or not, the activities can be tailored to your mood. To test your skills, try a water-skiing session with the Wake Box. Or swing out over the water after climbing onto Tarzan’s rope. Waterfalls, splashes and water cannons not your thing? Head for the saunas and jacuzzis, where you can unwind amid steam and bubbles, or enjoy the solarium for a sunbathing session during the hottest hours of summer. Little paddlers from age 3 won’t miss out either: a pool is specially dedicated to them, so they can splash around to their heart’s content. And to enjoy the other areas, armbands are available free of charge.

Sea, sport and popcorn

At Aquaboulevard, you can swim — but that’s not all. After a few strength-training sessions at the park’s fitness club, your fifteen minutes in the sauna will feel even more rewarding. Outside, the solarium beach sits alongside the mini-golf course, perfect for swinging a club when the weather is fine. And whatever people say, sport works up an appetite. With indoor and outdoor bar-restaurants and food stands, hungry visitors of all ages will find plenty to enjoy.
What better way to celebrate a birthday than with a belly-slide competition? Aquaboulevard is the perfect place for little sailors to party, complete with a cake and gifts prepared for the occasion. And grown-up kids can rest assured: you can also book “Pool Party” days with friends.

Is your teenager begging you to take them to Aquaboulevard? No need anymore: young people aged 13 and over can go on their own. Good news for you — while your son plays Tarzan on the rope above the water, you can catch a film at the Gaumont cinema, located within the water park complex.
