Description
Ever since the first equestrian cabaret was created back in 1984, every Zingaro show produced in the equestrian theatre has combined dance, music from around the world, poetry and many other artistic disciplines. They convey emotions, travel and the perfect communion between humans and horses.
A true hub of life, this equestrian theatre set up in a customised wooden circus in the heart of the Fort d’Aubervilliers in the north of Paris also has a very cosy restaurant that can sit up to 500 people, for dining before or after the show.
The Cabaret de l'Exil reinvents itself for the 3rd time
This year, 2023, the Cabaret de l'Exil returns to the Théâtre équestre Zingaro with a new show: Femmes Persanes.
Starting on 20 October, Bartabas' new creation pays tribute to Persian women, whether Afghan or Iranian, to all artists in exile. All these women who, resistant and rebellious, assert their identity by calling on their ancestral memory, that of the ancient Scythian civilisation founded on matriarchy. A perfect example of male-female equality among this nomadic people.
