Description

The Vélodrome National de Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines is a world-class project that was designed for the city of Paris' bid for the 2012 Olympic Games. The Olympic Games were eventually held in London but the project was maintained to the delight of the town of Montigny-le-Bretonneux, west of Paris!

Today the velodrome hosts all the French team training sessions on a 250m long track! Outside, a covered BMX track is a first in Europe. In the surrounding area, four accommodation buildings are intended for students, researchers and visitors. It is therefore a high-level facility that hosts major international competitions.

The Velodrome is also open to the general public: numerous activities other than cycling are offered, as well as a rich programme of events. Bike polo, badminton, freestyle airbag, self-defence, spinning class, kettlebells… new sports to be tried as a one-off session or with a subscription, the choice is yours!
