Description
Your hands are sweaty, your heart is pounding and your head is on fire - that's what an escape game is all about. Well, almost. The principle: a escape game with life-size puzzles and logic. The aim? Find the solution within a given time.
After a short trip to the other side of the world, Maxime and Maxime came back with an idea in mind: ‘Mum, Dad, we want to open an escape game in Paris’. So they quit their permanent jobs and threw themselves into the project. The Game was born in December 2014 in the 5th arrondissement of Paris.
With the help of professional decorators, they set up exceptional backdrops to transport you into a completely immersive game. And they have not one but two premises not far from the Jardin du Luxembourg waiting for you. The icing on the cake: they have won no less than 4 awards for the best chain in the Paris region at the Escape Game Awards (2015, 2016, 2022, 2023). Don't worry, you're in for a real thrill.
12 impossible missions?
The two Maximes have come up with 12 different worlds, including some very Parisian ones like ‘Le Métro**’. In a real train from line 12 that was used for over 40 years before ending up in The Game, your mission is to restart it before an accident occurs… While ‘Les Catacombes’ invites you to explore the bowels of Paris.
As for the rest, ‘The Abduction’ plunges you into an investigation into the mysterious disappearance of a dancer. As for the ‘The Treasure of the Templars’ room, developed in collaboration with Ubisoft, it plunges you into the world of the Assassin's Creed video games.
There are also two rooms dedicated to heists: ‘Casino Heist’ and ‘French Heist’, for those who dream of robbing a bank. ‘The Plane’ will give you a unique experience in a surprising setting made up of old A320 parts. ‘The Space Mission’ will have you stopping an asteroid, “The Earthquake” will have you making the capital safe after an earthquake, and “The Wild West” will have you enjoying the Molly Town saloon.
The Game has also inaugurated its first horrific room, not recommended for under-16s, entitled ‘The Haunted Cinema’. Finally, they have launched an adventure with a highly original concept: ‘Secret Mission’, the theme of which remains a surprise until the moment you play…
60 minutes chrono
Playing the hero or villain at The Game couldn't be easier. Before you set off on your journey, a game master tells you the rules to follow. If you have any questions, now's your chance! Once you've entered your room, he'll be there to listen to you as and when you need him. But he's not there to give you any clues…
You then have 60 minutes to complete your mission, as a team of course. Teamwork is essential at The Game. You can form teams of 2 to 6 players, although Maxime and Maxime recommend between 3 and 5 players.
If you find the riddle in the allotted time, the door opens and all you have to do is get out. If not, the game master will open the door and give you the keys to the mystery you haven't managed to solve. Good luck!
There are a thousand and one ways to have fun in the Paris Region.
