- Provins Harvest Festival
Description
At the end of the summer, the medieval city of Provins holds its very own Harvest Festival. Share in this traditional celebration of the rural world in the streets of the old town on Sunday, August 23.
A family-friendly annual event with a parade of beautifully decorated floats, wheat threshing demonstrations and processions of old cars to the strains of jazz and folk music. A chance to reconnect with the rural world of our grandparents and to show our children the know-how of days past.
Organised by the association "La Commune Libre de la Ville Haute", this 53st edition will once again bring you together and fill you with wonder.
Don't miss the sale of regional products and local craft items, or the activities for children. With the mini-farm, circus workshop and giant wooden games, there will be something for all ages and all tastes.
So, if you are looking for a jovial atmosphere to mark the end of the summer, head to Provins!
