Description
With nearly 200 exhibitors from all over the world**, the Paris Photo event has become a must for collectors and art lovers over the years. While the Grand Palais is currently closed for renovations until 2024, this major event of the autumn season is taking up residence this year in the Grand Palais Ephémère, a temporary 10,000m2 building designed by architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte, with the Champ-de-Mars, the Eiffel Tower and the Trocadero as neighbours. A magnificent perspective in every way!
In 2022, a programme dedicated to women photographers
Paris Photo continues its commitment to women photographers with Elles x Paris Photo, a programme initiated in 2018 in partnership with the Ministry of Culture and supported by Women In Motion to promote the visibility of women artists and their contribution to the history of photography.
For 4 days, emerging and established galleries will exhibit historical and contemporary works, from modern masterpieces to young talents, while specialised publishers and art book dealers will present rare and limited editions, book launches and numerous signings with the greatest contemporary artists.
Paris Photo for all photography lovers
This is the unmissable event for anyone who wants to deepen their knowledge of photography. On the programme: exhibitions from public and private institutions, prizes, a series of discussions led by guest artists, curators and critics, as well as special events exploring the history of this medium. Different visions and emerging practices are also addressed.
Don't miss the exhibitions presented throughout the city as part of "A Paris pendant Paris Photo " ("In Paris during Paris Photo").
