Description
Located in the heart of the Plaine Saulnier urban development zone, near the Stade de France, the Paris Olympic Aquatic Centre hosted several events for the 2024 Olympics, before opening to the public in 2025. Come and exercise at this choice facility.
This brand new aquatic centre fits perfectly into its surroundings. Based on innovative sustainable building principles, its wooden architecture blends harmoniously with the landscape. The bright, curved structure reaches for the sky, unfurling like a sail amid the trees that surround it, to offer visitors a pleasant place to stroll and unwind.
A new era!
The Paris Aquatic Centre has become a training ground for the sports clubs and associations of Saint-Denis, as well as the French diving team. It hosts national and international competitions but is also open to the general public for all kinds of swimming activities.
The OAC, as it is already known, features a 25-metre pool for learners, a fun area for water activities, a multi-purpose pool, and a sundeck in the garden, ideal for families. Swimming aside, the aquatic centre is about sports activities of every kind, with cardio training apparatus, a climbing wall and various courts and pitches where you can play paddle tennis, 5-a-side football or 3x3 basketball. A breathtaking variety of sports facilities!
You’ll also find a restaurant on the premises, where you can replenish your energy after a sports session. The menu is based on fresh, seasonal produce from the urban farm in Saint-Denis.
And believe it or not, there’s even a sports recycling centre! So, here’s your chance to give your equipment a new lease of life, and maybe find a bargain or two.
