My first "Swan Lake"
Because there is no age limit for discovering the great ballet classics, "Swan Lake ", imagined in the 19th century to the music of Tchaikovsky, has been adapted to appeal to young children and their parents.
The story has been simplified into two 40-minute acts (with intermission) with a narrative that allows the youngest audience members to immerse themselves more easily in the story.
The choreography, created by Fabrice Bourgeois, Ballet Master at the Paris Opera, features a troupe of professional dancers under the artistic direction of Karl Paquette, star dancer at the Paris Opera.
Swan Lake, a timeless story and a magical show for the whole family!
Once upon a time, in a faraway land, Siegfried is a young prince feeling bored in his palace. But today is his birthday and his best friend Wolfgang has organised a party in his honour. He wants the prince to have fun.
As the guests leave, a flight of swans flies over the kingdom and Siegfried decides to follow them into the forest. On its borders lies the kingdom of the sorcerer Rothbart, who is holding a princess named Odette prisoner. At a lake, the prince meets the young girl who, bewitched by Rothbart, is transformed into a swan and can only return to her human form at sunset. Only a man's oath of love can free her from this spell. Will the prince succeed in thwarting the sorcerer's tricks and free his princess?
A prince and a princess, a love story, beautiful sets and costumes… all the ingredients are in place for an excellent family holiday experience!
