Maison des Arts de Créteil

Located in Créteil, south-east of Paris, the Maison des Arts et de la Culture (Créteil arts Centre) showcases all kinds of performance art with panache. The plays, dance recitals, concerts, comedy shows, exhibitions and festivals staged here promote art in all its forms, paying particular attention to artistic collaborations across genres.

Passing on culture to a young audience is a key aim. Children are targeted from nursery school onward to help build their artistic talents and stimulate their desire to discover new artistic disciplines, in the most playful and accessible forms possible. Meetings with artists and workshops are organised regularly.

The Maison des Arts is also home to the Centre Chorégraphique de Créteil et du Val-de-Marne, which helps develop and promote dance in the Paris Region, as well as the Festival International de Films de Femmes, a festival devoted to films directed by women.
