Let's eat! The art of dining
The Sèvres Ceramics Museum invites you to travel back in time, from Antiquity to the present day, following the evolution of the Gastronomic Meal of the French, which has been listed by UNESCO for 10 years and is constantly reinventing itself.
And because a good meal always appears at a beautifully set table, what better place than the museum and its admirable collections to showcase the French meal and tell its story?
From the preparation of dishes to their consumption, through the art of table setting to the art of sharing and conviviality, this exhibit shows off over 1,000 works from the museum's collections and from the Adrien Dubouché National Museum in Limoges, the Museum of Decorative Arts and major French brands such as Christofle and Saint-Louis.
