Les Grands Voisins

Les Grands Voisins

An idyllic village nestled in the former Saint-Vincent de Paul hospital, Les Grands Voisins offers a whole new experience centred on community economy, culture, well-being and even urban farming.
  1. What to see and do
  2. Outings
  3. Unusual places
  4. Les Grands Voisins

Les Grands Voisins, a new eco-district taken over by the Aurore and Yes We Camp associations, is getting people talking. And for good reason, the place is brimming with life!

Built on the values of hospitality and generosity, the spaces are dedicated to housing vulnerable individuals, but are also home to various charities, start-ups, craftsmen and artists. In this original spot, you can enjoy healthy, cheap meals at L’Oratoire, buy beautiful plants from Mama Petula, the plant concept store, take yoga or astrology classes or take a wander around designers’ workshops and shops. As you stroll along Rue des Artistes, soak up the atmosphere of this living site and admire the works exhibited in this open-air workshop where contemporary design is showcased. There is a warm welcome to be had at La Lingerie, a bar and reception hall where the decoration is extraordinary: a hanging garden falls from the ceiling while the hall itself is in the shape of a ship. Barbecues, concerts, DJ sets, bands, performances, dance lessons, yoga classes and other well-being activities… at Les Grands Voisins, it’s Neighbours’ Day every day.
