Guerlain hasn’t budged since 1914 and its lit-up façade continues to brighten the avenue. The shop front offers a glimpse of the historical, elegant world inside. Your experience continues in the former apartment of the Guerlain family. It was in 1939 that they decided to create an institute here. Sheltered from the hustle and bustle of the avenue outside, this enchantingly peaceful place is an ode to wellbeing.

A Parisian icon

At the House of Guerlain, you get more than just treatments, you enjoy a whole experience. You’ll pass through a gallery of marble and then take a seat in the lounge. Between the wood-clad walls, glass doors covered in orchids and other plants, cosy sofas and cups of tea, everything here makes you forget the hustle and bustle of Paris.

Within its walls, Guerlain has succeeded in keeping the French art of living alive. Behind the institute’s Art Déco style is Jean-Michel Frank, one of the leading decorators of this legendary era. You’ll also see the work of Alberto Giacometti and Christian Bérard.
