Open all year round, the Île de loisirs d’Etampes, nestled in a 145-hectare nature park, has a huge wave pool in the summer where you can splash around by the sea. Come and take on the waves during thrilling sessions that are sure to delight the children, along with a giant slide that will plunge you into the water! Smaller children will have their own water games in the paddling pool, allowing them to cool off while they enjoy the hot summer days. The shady lawn areas bordering the swimming pool will take you on a journey along the coast as you bask in the sun. The more athletic among you can compete in a tournament on the beach volleyball field.

The exceptional natural setting around the island is perfect for walking, cycling or horse riding. For children over 2 years old, the pony club organises beginner riding lessons, while older children can enjoy more advanced courses in the riding arena or spring garden, or in the club house during winter.

Looking for thrills? Head to the adventure centre to experience moments of pure adrenaline. Enjoy winter sports 365 days a year at the ice rink or on a 40-kph toboggan run through a succession of turns and downhills. Extreme sports lovers will get to show off their acrobatics on the pump track with a BMX bike, scooter or roller skates. The whole family ages 3 and up can also get back to nature by climbing one of the 6 treetop adventure courses (note: this course is closed from All Saints’ Day until the April holidays).
