Fondation Good Planet
Description
Nestled in the Bois de Boulogne in Paris, the GoodPlanet Foundation was founded by photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand and is devoted to raising awareness of environmental and social issues (admission is free).
The Foundation was set up for the developers of environmental projects as well as the wider public. Domaine de Longchamp, which houses the Foundation, is open all year round with a programme of exhibitions, concerts, screenings and conferences. There are workshops every day for children and adults on an array of topics such as beekeeping, well-being, zero waste and herbs (book in advance).
The site also exhibits the creations of artists who, through their work, aim to raise awareness of a particular issue. The GoodPlanet Foundation certainly doesn’t aim to make anyone feel guilty, instead preferring to share strong messages to which people are free to sign up, or not.
Make sure you also take a walk around the gardens where you’ll discover the outdoor exhibitions, the vegetable garden, the beehives and the rose garden.
A great place to explore with family and learn more about our fragile world !
