For over 90 years, the Montmartre Grape Harvest Festival has been the beating heart of this iconic Parisian hill. Originating around the Montmartre vineyards, it has, over time, become one of the capital’s major cultural and festive events, whilst retaining the village spirit that gives the 18th arrondissement its charm. Every year, residents, artists, local organisations, shopkeepers and visitors come together to celebrate a creative, down-to-earth neighbourhood deeply attached to its identity. The 2026 edition, centred on the theme of music with the slogan ‘The 18th sets the rhythm’, continues this tradition by inviting the public to explore the neighbourhoods through concerts, street performances, dances and social gatherings.

A blend of heritage, flavours and creativity

The Grape Harvest Festival stands out for its rich programme, where heritage meets contemporary creativity. Highlights include the Grape Harvest Ceremony, the Grand Parade and the Closing Ball – all moments that reflect the locals’ attachment to their shared history. The Parcours du Goût also plays a central role, bringing together producers, artisans and winegrowers who come to share their expertise and specialities. Beyond the festivities, the event highlights the values of passing on traditions, openness and conviviality, whilst encouraging more responsible practices centred on short supply chains, sustainable food and the promotion of local talent.
