The railbike, also known as a draisine, or rail-cycle, is a lightweight vehicle that moves on rails and is powered by the muscular strength of its occupants, who pedal it like a bicycle. The successful combination of bike and train, humans and nature, delivers a thrilling experience!

Thanks to the electric assistance, you can pedal at your own pace, along a straight, flat and easy course.
Ferra Botanica involves a fun outdoor activity and a journey through the sensitive natural area of the Val du Haut Morin, scattered here and there with poetic and intriguing installations themed around plants and animals. Art lovers will appreciate this aesthetic scenery.

How does it work?
Each bicycle can accommodate 2 to 5 people. Only 2 people pedal, but there is the option to change drivers mid-route, so that everyone gets a chance to participate.

To reach the railbike starting point located in the old Lescherolles station, take the small tourist train that departs from the front of La Ferté-Gaucher Tourist Office (20 minute trip included in the railbike price).

You can also make the most of the warm summer evenings and come at night!
