Description
North-east of Paris in Écancourt, part of the Vexin français nature park, immerse yourself in the world of a farm and its residents. Set up by people passionate about what they do, La Ferme d’Écancourt aims to draw the attention of young and old alike to issues of conservation and sustainable development in the agricultural world through its visits and workshops.
This educational space, housed in a 17th century building, consists of a farm, as well as a sensory garden, an environmentally friendly vegetable patch and a wild garden.
Come and meet the resident animals all year round. There are goats, cows, hens, rabbits and more. Depending on what time you come, you may also be able to witness the animals receiving treatment or being milked. Seasonal farm produce is sold on site (eggs, cheeses and vegetables).
If you fancy a little break, there are picnic tables in the garden. And after visiting the farm, you can enjoy a lovely woodland walk through the nearby Forêt d’Hautil.
A day of nature and discovery that will delight children and their parents!
Do you feel like more outings on the farm? Go to Gally or to the P’tit Brin de Paille educational farm for a family discovery of the agricultural world.
