Discovering dinosaurs

From 10 December until 28 February 2026, L’Atelier des Lumières is opening its doors to a unique experience: “Dinosaurs – Prehistoric Planet”. Inspired by the hit Apple TV documentary series, this immersive exhibition plunges you into the majestic landscapes of the dinosaur era. Thanks to monumental projections and captivating narration by Gérard Lanvin, take your family on a journey to discover lush jungles, arid deserts and mysterious oceans, and encounter life-size Tyrannosaurus rex, pterosaurs and mosasaurs. Each scene, rich in detail, recreates the incredible biodiversity of the planet before the extinction of the dinosaurs, offering a real lesson in natural sciences while delighting the senses.

A sensory and educational immersion

For 50 minutes, the walls and floors of the former foundry are transformed into prehistoric ecosystems brought to life by scientifically accurate images. Children discover how baby dinosaurs are born, their hunting techniques and social behaviour, while parents enjoy a soundtrack by Hans Zimmer that heightens the emotion of each scene. To extend the adventure, L'Atelier des Enfants offers an interactive space included in the ticket price, ideal for sparking the curiosity of younger visitors and allowing them to manipulate, play and learn while having fun. A cultural outing that combines entertainment, education and wonder, perfect for sharing an unforgettable moment with the family.
