Description
In a lush green setting, Classique au Vert hosts a diverse classical music line-up, covering all forms and genres, from recitals to singing, symphonic repertoire to chamber music. During the festival, young talent can mix with major international soloists. All spectators get a chance to discover the diversity of the music world through the links between classical music and other forms of artistic expression, countries and eras, cultures and folklore.
The environment itself really appeals to the senses. The Parc Floral was designed to mirror the aesthetic qualities of Japanese gardens. Order and beauty are the word in this magical place where unique collections of bonsai trees, irises and dahlias rub shoulders with sculptures by the Italian Volti and Tamil potters. The music seems to seek out the public on the green pastures or amid the copses.
2026 programme of the Classique Au Vert festival :
The 2026 programme offers a true musical interlude, blending classical elegance with bold interpretations throughout the summer. From Le temps des lilas by Giardini and Pierre Fouchenneret, which opens the season with delicacy, to Clair-obscur performed by Astrig Siranossian and Nathanael Goin, each event invites audiences into a rich and contrasting musical world. Listeners can then enjoy the vibrant chemistry of Lucienne Renaudin Vary and Félicien Brut in The Perfect Match, or embrace the pastoral charm of Fête Champêtre.
Great works from the repertoire take center stage with Ensemble Diderot, followed by the virtuosity of the Opus13 String Quartet and the distinctive modernity of Vanessa Wagner performing Philip Glass. To conclude, the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris brings this musical journey to a refined close, offering a season that is both accessible and sophisticated, where each concert becomes a unique experience.
