Description
When Christmas spirit echoes Perrault's fairy tales!
From 1 December 2025 to 4 January 2026, the Château de Breteuil, a 17th-century gem nestled in the heart of the Chevreuse Valley, will be transformed into a veritable fairytale setting. For the festive season, Christmas lights adorn the facades and gardens of the château, immersing young and old alike in a magical atmosphere. Inside, the rooms are carefully decorated with sparkling Christmas trees, festive tables set in the large dining room, and a collection of nativity scenes from around the world on display in the chapel.
Perrault's tales come to life
The castle pays tribute to Charles Perrault, whose famous tales are brought to life in the outbuildings: Cinderella, Bluebeard, Tom Thumb and Sleeping Beauty come alive through animated skits. An enchanted walk through the rooms of the château allows visitors to rediscover these timeless stories in a setting specially designed to delight children… and rekindle memories for parents.
