Description
It was in the highly popular Rue des Martyrs – right in the middle of Montmartre at the foot of the Sacré Cœur Basilica – that French singer, drag artist, and king of merrymaking and eccentricity Michou decided to settle down and open his cross-dressing cabaret, with its amazingly talented artists soon dazzling the Parisian nightlife scene.
Known as the Michettes, these artists put on an incredibly moving burlesque show, and you’ll be sharing your evening with the likes of Vanessa Paradis, Michael Jackson, Mylène Farmer, Maria Callas and many others, whose performances will delight and amaze you.
Meanwhile, the chef in the kitchen will be whipping you up a delicious dinner, with dishes ranging from a melt-in-your-mouth fillet of cod to a perfectly-cooked rump steak, accompanied by your choice of Bordeaux or Beaujolais.
With plush red velvet surroundings and huge mirrors on the walls, tables arranged in long lines give the place a warm, friendly feel. The many photographs along the stairway bring past and present together, giving visitors the full tour of the Cabaret Michou’s fabulous history. You’re sure to leave with vivid colours and sequins still dancing before your eyes!
