Description

Enjoy a unique experience and a different way to discover Paris.

In Parc André Citroën in the 15th arrondissement, hop aboard the Ballon de Paris and admire an aerial view of the city. The balloon was installed in 1999 and, at 32 metres high, is the largest helium balloon in the world. It remains anchored to the ground but rises like an elevator to a height of 150 metres above Paris. Bring the family and take to the air to survey the capital’s best-known monuments such as the Eiffel Tower, Montparnasse Tower and its panoramic observation deck and the La Défense district and its Grande Arche. Gaze down over the banks of the Seine and its downstream section and take home some special memories and remarkable images of Paris.

Did you know? Since 2008, the balloon has played a crucial role in helping to raise awareness about air quality in Paris. It provides daily indicators and changes colour depending on air pollution levels, going from green (good) to red (poor) and orange (mediocre).

Please note: the balloon may be closed without warning if weather conditions are poor. Please enquire before coming.
