It happened in 2022

Building on the success of the 2021 edition, which was the opening event at the Grand Palais Ephémère on the Champs-de-Mars in September, Art Paris returns this year in the spring, from 7 to 10 April 2022.

Art Paris 2022, an event at the meeting point between contemporary art and the environment

At once regional and cosmopolitan, in 2022 Art Paris is offering a new approach to art centred on relationships with the living world. This year’s edition is resolutely committed to the environment, with two themes, Natural Histories and Art & Environment, combined with a sustainable approach to the fair, a first in the world of art fairs.

To highlight this theme, Alice Audouin, independent exhibition curator specialising in the environment and founder of Art of Change 21, has selected from the some 130 participating galleries 17 French and international artists from around 20 countries whose practices tackle environmental issues such as the climate crisis and the destruction of biodiversity.

Monographic exhibitions for discovering, or rediscovering, in depth the work of modern, contemporary or emerging artists; support for young galleries and new contemporary creation; visits organised with the Observatoire de l’Art Contemporain to “decipher” work; and specific tools to make contemporary art accessible to all… Art Paris has been firmly established on the contemporary art scene for more than 20 years, developing for itself a unique identity and claiming a selection dictated by passion rather than speculation.
