Description
A regional and cosmopolitan fair with an emphasis on discovery, Art Paris is the unmissable spring event in Paris. The 28th edition of Art Paris will bring together galleries from different countries, from 9 to 12 April 2026, at the Grand Palais just renovated.
The French art scene
Since 2018, Art Paris has been supporting and promoting the French art scene by combining each year the subjective, historical and critical eye of an exhibition curator with the selection of specific projects by French artists proposed by participating galleries.
To further support the French art scene, BNP Paribas Banque Privée, the fair's official premium partner, is launching the BNP Paribas Banque Privée Prize in 2024, in collaboration with Art Paris. A look at the French art scene.
2026 Edition
This year, Art Paris highlights two major projects led by guest curators who explore contemporary artistic and societal issues.
On one side, Loïc Le Gall presents “Babel – Art and Language in France”, a reflection on our relationship with words, symbols, and the collective construction of reality. Through a wide range of works, oscillating between figuration and abstraction, this artistic journey questions the ways in which we decipher and interpret the world.
On the other, Alexia Fabre, deputy director of the Centre Pompidou Francilien in Massy, develops the theme of “Repair”, an exploration of healing, resilience, and reconstruction processes, both individual and collective. This project brings together artists whose works address memory, trauma, and the possibilities of rebirth.
An eco-responsible event
Since 2022, Art Paris has been fully committed to developing an eco-design approach based on life cycle analysis (LCA), a first in the world of art fairs. This pioneering approach, entrusted to the Karbone Prod agency and carried out in collaboration with the Solinnen consultancy, will be continued.
Your arty outing this spring is just a stone’s throw from the Eiffel Tower!
