Description
The mission of this year's Jardin Suspendu, which for the first time is setting up in the Pavillon Chesnaie du Roy of the Parc Floral de Paris, is simply to bring a smile back to visitors' faces after two months of quarantine.
This new space covers 2,500 m2, all outdoors. Open from 18 June to 13 September, from noon to midnight, Le Jardin Suspendu gives pride of place to fun and games, literally! Offering baseball, shuffleboard, Jenga, giant dominoes, giant mikado, horseshoe throwing, mini-golf, boules, and pedal cars (known as rosalies), there is something for everyone! The first word that springs to mind has to be "fun"!
In addition to the games, most of which are free, Le Jardin Suspendu holds festive evening events all summer long (a wonderful alternative to festivals that had to be cancelled), including DJ sets, tournaments, blind tests, Bingo Disco, roller discos, karaoke, acoustic shows, and the cabaret group Madame Arthur which puts on colourful shows every Thursday.
As for food, Le Jardin Suspendu has teamed up with Street Food en Mouvement, managed by Thierry Marx, offering more than 22 food trucks throughout the summer.
Add to that three bars, and a small selection of pitchers made with Aperol Spritz, sangria and other tasty cocktails, and you will have all the ingredients for a successful holiday in the Paris Region.
