Description

In the magnificent courtyard of the Carnavalet Museum, which traces the extensive history of Paris, tables and chairs have been set up especially for the “Fabula” pop-up restaurant for the entire 2023 summer season. Its name is taken from the Latin word for “history”, referencing the museum that accommodates it in this secluded garden in the heart of Paris.

A hidden restaurant

After chef Thibaut Spiwack in 2022, the menu is now prepared by star chef Julien Dumas. Good food and responsible cooking are still at the heart of this ephemeral restaurant. And this year's chef proposes generous and vegetal dishes concocted with local, seasonal and short circuit products.
Hasselback sweet potato, grilled green asparagus, double pancake and ham on the bone, conchigliette rigate, big cookie or tonka bean crème brûlée… The menu will delight you!

At the bar, Rémy Savage, elected best mixologist in the world in 2022, gets out his shaker to prepare the cocktail of your choice according to a list of cocktails with or without alcohol and in agreement with the cuisine proposed by Julien Dumas.

For a Parisian summer evening, the fabulous courtyard of the Carnavalet Museum offers an enchanting setting and a timeless evening. Surrounded by perfectly trimmed boxwoods and subdued lighting, this pretty spot is ideal for an evening with friends or lovers. In a relaxed and festive spirit, enjoy a gourmet meal to live a unique moment!
