The Arc de Triomphe, like the Eiffel Tower, is one of Paris’s must-see monuments. During your visit with family or friends, don’t miss its unique view of the Champs Élysées, the most beautiful avenue in the world. Buy your skip-the-line ticket now for this magnificent Parisian monument.
Built in 1806 by order of Napoleon I in honour of the Imperial Army, this monument, inspired by ancient arches, bears the names of battles and generals of the revolution and the First Empire. The Arc de Triomphe houses the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on which a flame is revived every evening. From its roof terrace, you can admire one of the most beautiful views in Paris, by day or by night.
