Description

At the junction of Rue Saint-Maur and Rue Oberkampf, in a small square surrounded by terraces where it is nice to sit in good weather, stands a real open-air work of art: the Oberkampf Wall! On the initiative of the M.U.R. association, committed to promoting urban art, part of the wall is regularly taken over by street artists from all over the world. Using conventions from advertising displays, young fledglings and established urban artists alike use a wide variety of techniques from aerosol to montage.

Pantónio, Astro, Ben, Miss Tic, L'Atlas and Kashink have come to paint on this wall where the only watchword is freedom. For the enjoyment of passers-by and fans of urban culture, all the pieces are originals and painted live. So if you don’t want to miss the live painting performances, stay tuned to the dates announced on their Facebook page!
