A natural source of adventure!
Located only 40 km from Paris, in the Yvelines département, discover - or rediscover - Thoiry ZooSafari for a journey into the heart of nature. Come and see 800 animals, more than 100 different species, in a 150-hectare park that is ideal for sharing a great experience.
On board your vehicle, start with the safari to see animals that live in semi-liberty, such as zebras, elephants, giraffes, bears and many others. Then, on foot, enjoy an unforgettable experience by coming face-to-face with lions, tigers and hyenas as you cross their territory in a glass tunnel. You can also meet the lemurs on the islands, see the vivarium, take a break at one of the play areas and tackle the giant maze, among other things. Explore the ‘arche des petites bêtes’, a unique construction in France that houses intriguing as well as unusual species of great ecological importance.
To see the animals from a different angle, Thoiry ZooSafari recently introduced a safari truck and a zip-line to fly over the lions and animals from Africa. Do not hesitate to take part in the large number of organised activities and watch the animals as they are fed - a great interactive moment.
Finally, for a cultural and historic experience, visit the family château of the counts of La Panouse.
Plan to spend a whole day with friends or family at Thoiry ZooSafari.
