Guided tour of the French Republican Guard - Célestins barracks
Enter Célestins barracks, the heart of the French Republican Guard, and discover the place where these cavalrymen train.
Inside the Main Stable and the Staff Stable, your Cultival guide will explain the characteristics of the Guard’s majestic horses. Today, these stables are home to the 140 horses of the 1st squadron and of the brass band of the Republican Guard.
You will also discover the superb ‘Traditions room’, which is dedicated to the history of the Republican Guard. You will be captivated by the magnificent structure of the ring, built in the style of Gustave Eiffel, where the cavalrymen train every day.

Your ticket is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
Reservation required with the Agence Cultival (see contact details on your
ticket). Important: Please wait 24 hours after purchasing your tickets to
make your reservation.
Meeting point: Quartier des Célestins. Duration of the tour: 1 hour 30
The Republican Guard is a place of work. The cavalrymen are under no
obligation to train during the tours.
Since much of the tour takes place outside, visitors are advised to wrap up
Stay at least one metre away from the horses at all times.
The tour is not recommended for visitors with health problems or allergies
to hay and/or horses
No entry for children under 8.
