Exhibition ticket - Yves Saint Laurent: Behind the scenes of haute couture in Lyon
From 17 June to 5 December 2021, the Yves Saint Laurent Paris Museum presents
"Yves Saint Laurent: Behind the scenes of haute couture in Lyon". The result of a close collaboration with the Musée des Tissus in Lyon which, in November 2019,hosted the show, the exhibition highlights the special bond the designer maintained over 40 years of collaboration with manufacturers and suppliers of fabrics and materials in the Lyon region.
The universe and the unmatched talent of Yves Saint Laurent blend with the sublime fabrics of the iconic Lyon houses. The whisper of muslins, the lustre of jacquards, and the softness of velvet are all revealed in the exhibition, which illustrates more than 40 years of close and faithful collaboration in the service of fashion. Through around 30 haute couture pieces accompanied by numerous and varied documents, the exhibition explores the creative process of
the couturier in an original way.
